World Asthma Day 2026 - National Respiratory Strategies in action
Tuesday 5 mai 2026
Vaudeville Theatre - Brussels
The International Respiratory Coalition (IRC) and the Belgian Respiratory Society (BeRS) would be delighted to welcome you to the Théâtre du Vaudeville (Galerie de la Reine 13 – 1000 Brussels) to mark World Asthma Day 2026 together.
Asthma remains one of the most common chronic respiratory diseases, yet many patients are still insufficiently controlled despite the availability of effective treatments. To help bridge the gap between science, policy and clinical practice, this dedicated evening on asthma policy aims to foster meaningful dialogue and collaboration.
By partnering with the International Respiratory Coalition, the event benefits from a strong international and multidisciplinary platform, enhancing its visibility, credibility and impact while supporting coordinated action across countries.
The programme will bring together clinicians, researchers, policymakers and patient representatives to explore best practices and future policy directions.
Through an interactive Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) update, expert presentations and a panel discussion, participants will reflect on how scientific evidence can be translated into concrete improvements in asthma care and prevention.
